This micro school is an essential educational option for Blind and Visually Impaired students, formed to provide a safe developmental environment. This program's curriculum supports participants as they develop into healthy individuals who will actively contribute to society.
Because of a recent budget deficit and the unexpected closure of their specialized day school, these students will be left without a dedicated campus, equipped with the necessities to educate, socialize and care for their unique developmental needs. In short, the educators, parents and supporters of Tucson School for the Blind will provide young disabled students a school home where they can learn and thrive, but we need your help.

We cannot allow these students to be thrown into the general population of a large public school, where they would lose access to specialized resources, educators who understand them, and friendships that they have formed.
Your donation will help deliver an Expanded Core Curriculum to support them as they develop skills in orientation, mobility, assistive technology, and independent living. Our greatest current challenge is the timing of the students’ needs. With one school year ending and one beginning this same year, the time to build their new educational environment is NOW!

100% of your donation will go to the Tucson School for the Blind. These things are essential for this program to succeed. There is much to be done and so little time, but we have the passion, educational expertise, and are appealing to you to provide the means to deliver what they need to become a part of the community they seek to contribute to.
